PTI SAF 2013: Custom Accents from the oven
The last challenge for me! I will certainly try shrink plastic again.
I loved participating in SAF & doing it from home made me actually make things instead of just yakking & swapping supplies!
Thanks for coming by!
Supplies: PTI cardstock, stamp, dies; Crate PP, EK punch, copics to color shrink plastic
PTI SAF 2013: Candy coated Embellishments
I couldn't find any glitter in my stash, so I broke out these glass microbeads -- still looks candy-coated to me.
I decided to make a tag b/c I didn't know how well the beads would travel in the mail.
Supplies: PTI cardstock,PP, stamp, ribbon, ink; microbeads, twine

PTI SAF 2013: Sprinkle of Salt
I did not have much luck w/the salt. :(
I used watercolor pencils & tons of water, but I think the coaster I used was way too absorbent & so the salt did not much affect the color.
But making lemons out of lemonade, I used part of the piece to die-cut the umbrella & went from there.
Thanks for coming by!
Supplies: PTI cardstock, dies, ink, stamps, coaster; sequins from HL
PTI SAF 2013: Rolled Dough Designs
I pressed the die into the paper clay when it was wet, then cut the pear w/scissors when dry.
Four more challenges to go!
Thanks for coming by!
Supplies: PTI cardstock, PP, stamp; Spellbinders dies, pinking shears, paper clay, Memento ink
PTI SAF 2013: Scent-sational Cards
I mixed cocoa powder w/embossing powder to make this scratch & sniff card for the challenge.
Thanks for coming by!
Supplies: PTI cardstock, stamps, die,PP; Marvy punch, Memento ink

ETA: All That Glitters is Gold Challenge in the Moxie Fab World, PTI SAF 2013: Gallon, Quart, Pint
I've wanted to use this embossing folder for a while. I used Core'dinations Kraft Core, but couldn't get the raised parts sanded well -- so Delicata to the rescue! So the teal Kraft Core is my Gallon, gold is my quart, & the Scarlet Jewel is my pint.
Mounted on a Vintage Cream card base.
Thanks for taking a look!
Supplies: PTI VC & SJ cardstock, Sizzix embossing folder, Core'dinations Kraft Core, Delicata gold ink
PTI SAF 2013: Tea Staining Techniques
I tea-stained some white velvet scalloped ribbon from my stash. The tea I used is called Typhoo & it has a reddish-brown cast, so I had to find something to go with the color the ribbon became. PTI First Fruits (which I got in my goodie bag @ the first SAF in Cincinnati)did the trick.
Thanks for taking a peek!
Supplies: PTI cardstock, stamp, PP; ribbon from my stash, Versafine ink, foam tape
PTI SAF 2013:Mixing Mists to Match
I really did mix a mist to match! I only have a couple PTI re-inkers that weren't colors I was going for, but used some other ones I had to mix up (I think!) a great match for one of my fave PTI colors, Ocean Tides. It looks really good next to the OT cardstock.
Couldn't find my heat gun, so used the toaster! I'm feeling very resourceful today.
Thanks for taking a look!
Supplies: PTI cardstock, stamps, ink; clear embossing powder, Versamark ink, Marvy re-inkers
PTI SAF 2013: Breakfast Bake & Take
My card loosely uses the 2nd color combo & the 5th sketch. You can get these great "recipes" for free on Nichole's blog HERE
Supplies: PTI cardstock, stamp, coverplate; Spellbinders embossing folder, foam tape, Impress ink

Baby Shower card -- welcome Gracie!
What a joy to make this card! Some friends who've wanted to be parents for a long time have adopted a little girl.
There were many steps to this card -- several dies, embossing, fussy cutting, stamping, paper-piecing; but so worth the effort.
Thanks for taking a look!
Supplies: PTI stamps, cardstock, ink, buttons, cupcake die, ribbon; Spellbinders dies, Memento brown, dollar spot jewel

Summer-y Birthday card w/PTI Chevron cover plate
I used a new supply in the same week I received it! The PTI Chevron cover plates were so entrancing, I bought both the horizontal & the vertical!
I cut it out from PTI's linen vellum. I'd forgotten this existed until some of the DT used it in their countdown projects. This LO is CASEd from THIS card by Jess Witty.
The birthday girl liked it, so I was a happy card-maker.
Thanks for taking a look!
Supplies: PTI: cardstock, vellum, stamp, dies; Memento ink, EK circle punch, Spellbinders daisy die

Memorial Day "Any Hero mail" signing for OWH
I made about 170 cards (with some assembly help from some little crafty girls & their mamas) for a card signing at my church.
These were "Any Hero Mail" cards for Operation Write Home. They have a constant need for these to include in the boxes of handmade cards they send out to units of deployed U.S. Armed Services. You can read more about this here http://operationwritehome.org/anyhero/

Kristina Werner blog giveaway haul!
Kristina Werner did a huge giveaway on her blog -- she was moving to a new house & needed to purge her craft room. She just asked that we pay for shipping of the box of goodies -- what a deal!
I was one of the lucky winners of a Priority Mail box stuffed w/great stuff!
I knew this box was meant to be mine because the first thing I pulled out was a box of Eiffel Tower cards w/French-themed stamps! Further into the box, I found a BG set w/ more French sentiments!
I hope the pictures give you an idea of how much goodie was packed into that box.
Thanks, Kristina! May your new house be a blessing to you & to everyone who enters it!

PTI 6th anniversary: Design Team Favorite inspiration
I used this card (BELOW) by Maile Belles as inspiration. I like the images turned different ways to form a pattern. I decided to use card stock, instead of stamps to make my pattern. My son is a Valentine, so this (ABOVE) is his birthday card.
Supplies: PTI cardstock, dies & stamp; Versafine ink, foam tape, Corner Chomper.
